Natsume is a Japanese video game developer and publisher of family-oriented video games. Now Natsume has revealed that Reel Fishing: Angler’s Dream for the Nintendo Wii has gone gold and will release across North America this month. The Reel Fishing franchise delivers an extremely true-to-life fishing experience and sets itself apart from the rest.
“We can’t wait for people to get their hands on Reel Fishing: Angler’s Dream this month,” stated Hiro Maekawa, President and CEO at Natsume. “It offers a fun and challenging fishing experience for novice fishermen and master anglers alike!”
Players can pitch tent in the middle of some highly picturesque environments, and enjoy the serene sights and sounds of nature at its virtual best, where the fish actually jump, flee and dive to avoid capture. The game features a host of environments such as intense rivers, calm lakes and tropical oceans, and more than a hundred pieces of tackle to unlock. Players can even raise their catches in aquariums, later releasing them back into the wild. The game also features a Versus mode for two to four players.
Reel Fishing: Angler’s Dream is hailed as “The #1 Selling Fishing Franchise” and will ship to retailers in August. Prices for the fishing title are not known.
