From the last few weeks, Nintendo has been releasing just two games every week on the American Virtual Console. The trend continues this week as American Wii gamers can expect games like Adventures of Lolo 2 and Super Street Fighter II: The New Challengers on the VC.
Details of the games on the American VC:
First up, we have Adventures of Lolo 2 (NES, 1 player, 500 Wii Points), the puzzle game that was first released on the Nintendo Entertainment System. The game is a sequel to the original Adventures of Lolo game and sees Lolo free Lala from the clutches of the Great Devil who had abducted her. The game has puzzles related to Great Devil’s Tower and Castle mazes. Lolo has to collect information from the Jewels that have been left by Lala. Lolo has to push tiles, pick up Heart Framers, momentarily turn enemies into Eggs with his Magic Shots and defend against enemy attacks by moving Emerald Framers.
The second game is Super Street Fighter II: The New Challengers (Super NES, 1-2 players, 800 Wii Points). The fighting game features a revolutionary combo system, which has a new set of challengers to fight next to the original Street Fighter II cast. The four new members are T. Hawk, who has supreme strength to crush opponents. Then we have Deejay, who has kickboxing capabilities, Fei Long, a kung fu champ and lastly Cammy, the deadly beauty. They will join the original cast of Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li, Guile, Blanka, E. Honda, Zangief, Dhalsim, Balrog, Vega, Sagat and M. Bison.
Adventures of Lolo 2 and Super Street Fighter II: The New Challengers are already live on the American Virtual Console. Adventures of Lolo was released on the American VC some time in August 2007. It would be nice to play the sequel of the puzzle game!
