Metal Slug games have been a favorite with many a gamer and now it is all set to hit the Wii VC! Nintendo sends word that Metal Slug 2 will be available on the American Virtual Console. The WiiWare service will get two games, Space Invaders Get Even and Pit Crew Panic!
Details of the games on the American VC and WiiWare:
First up, we have Metal Slug 2 for the Virtual Console from SNK. The side-scrolling military-action game was first released on the NeoGeo in the late nineties. Gamers can select to play as Marco, Tarma, Eri and Fio. The game also supports two-player action, so you can have a great time with your friends.
Then we have the Space Invaders Get Even game for the WiiWare by Taito. Gamers take control of a UFO as they go against the humans using their fleet of heroic invaders against tanks, fighter jets and artillery. However, there is a boss fight at the end of each stage. The game features five attack types and gamers can upload high scores via the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.
Lastly there is Pit Crew Panic!, a WiiWare game by Hudson Entertainment. The frantic, action-packed game sees gamers in a racing circuit where the pit crew has to repair the vehicle as well as handle Whatsits. The Normal mode of the game has two rules, Abnormal mode and Ranking mode. There is a four-player co-op also.
All these games are up on the Wii Shop Channel. Metal Slug 2 is priced at 900 Wii Points. As for the WiiWare games, Space Invaders Get Even comes with a price tag of 500 Wii Points, while Pit Crew Panic! will cost you 800 Wii Points.
