“Tamagotchi: Party On!” For Nintendo Wii Goes Gold

Namco Bandai has sent word that Tamagotchi: Party On! for Nintendo Wii has gone gold. The title is a fun and addicting 3-D party game where up-to-four players can compete in a gorgeous Tamagotchi-style campaign race to become the president of Tamagotchi Planet.

    As the election heats up, gamers will swing, shake, point, and twist their Wii Remotes, in a variety of distinctive and totally addictive mini-games to earn Popularity Points and hard-earned Gotchi, the currency on Tamagotchi Planet. From the start, players will be able to choose their favorite virtual pet from a variety of popular Tamagotchis available. Once the player’s character is selected, Tamagotchi Planet becomes the eventual playing board as players move from space to space in a race to be the first candidate to hit the election speech space for the most Popularity Points.

    Along the way, players will do their civic duty and utilize their Wii Remotes in a number of different motions to earn popularity and cash through fun mini-games including shaking voter’s hands, finding lost children, picking up litter, and feeding hungry squirrels! Popularity can also be established by outfitting the candidate’s campaign headquarters with lavish decorations bought with Gotchi. Gotchi, can be earned through fast and funny Gotchi games like Rock, Paper, Scissors or UFO Memory to ultimately swing public opinion.
