Zombie Slayer Diox is the highlight of this week’s list of Nintendo downloadable games which also kicks in two other titles, a Nintendo Video and a Swapnote message from the company’s new spokesdog, Uggie. 1st Class Poker & BlackJack and Carmen Sandiego Adventures in Math: The Island of Diamonds are names of the two games out now for the 3DS and Wii, respectively.
A rhythm-action game with a side-scrolling twist is what the developer of Zombie Slayer Diox is describing it to be. In the year 20xx, zombies have taken control of major cities in the world, and gamers are required to assume the role of a samurai guitarist in order to put an end to the undead threat. This 3DS exclusive features an original soundtrack as well as hand-drawn artworks.
1st Class Poker & BlackJack is a DSiWare which comprises a number of different versions of the two card games, including Texas Hold’em, Double Flop Hold’em, Omaha, Pineapple and more. Local multiplayer is also offered by the second title from this week’s Nintendo downloadable games. Carmen Sandiego Adventures in Math: The Island of Diamonds adds a new episode to the game which once again has the protagonist going around the world, to solve mysteries using her math skills.
Uggie, the canine from flicks such as The Artist and Water for Elephants has recently signed up to become Nintendo’s spokesdog. For a limited time, those who have the free Swapnote app installed on their 3DS devices will be able to receive a message from Uggie himself.
Zombie Slayer Diox from this week’s Nintendo downloadable games retails on the eShop at a price of 5.99 USD (approx. Rs. 310), whereas 1st Class Poker & BlackJack sells on the DSi Shop and the eShop at 500 Points and 4.99 USD (approx. Rs. 255), correspondingly. Carmen Sandiego Adventures in Math: The Island of Diamonds is priced at 600 Points.
