Nintendo Downloads for this Week List Antipole, Kung Fu Dragon, Trollboarder

Remember a time that Nintendo forgot to come out with some downloadable fun for the weekend? We don’t. Nintendo is back again this week with a host of downloadable games for Wii, DSi and 3DS involving Antipole, Kung Fu Dragon, Trollboarder, Bobby Carrot Forever and 3D Classic: Xevious.

Bobby Carrot Forever

First off, the Nintendo Video service for getting videos onto the 3DS’ SD card through the SpotPass features is here. It offers users access to 2D as well as 3D content related to music, comedy, animation and Hollywood. The app is free of cost and wireless internet access is obviously required to make any use of it.

Those who wield a Wii console will be welcoming the Bobby Carrot Forever puzzle adventure that reeks of old-school 2D graphics and simple controls. As players guide Bobby Carrot the hare through 15 hours of adventure and over 70 levels, there are carrots to collect, obstacles to scale over and the secret of the 6 golden carrots to be discovered.

The $5.99 (approx. Rs. 265) 3D Classic: Xevious has been reworked just for the Nintendo 3DS. Gamers are reeled out some engaging vertical-scrolling arcade action as they fly Solvalou in a fight against Xevious forces. Destroying the Andor Genesis will earn some extra points while players pilot the fighter-bomber through 16 hazardous areas and annihilate the maximum number of targets.

Antipole is all about manipulating gravity to overcome barriers, transform falls into jumps and finally defeat the enemy. There are coins to be gathered along the way for unlocking additional challenge levels and a bonus mode for owners of Cosmos X2. Trollboarder will have players guiding the guardian on his snowboard as he tries to recover the dragon’s treasures from some nasty goblins.

The last on the list is Kung Fu Dragon. Set at the heart of the forest by the Mystical Waterfall, three warriors will take part in the honorable quest of trying to become the next Kung Fu Dragon. Each warrior has unique abilities and boss enemies are part of the challenge as gamers move higher up the waterfall while perfecting the two-step jump, dive and float abilities.

Bobby Carrot Forever can be downloaded for 800 Wii Points, while Antipole is available at $4.99 (approx. Rs. 220) for the Nintendo 3DS or 500 Nintendo DSi Points. Kung Fu Dragon and Trollboarder can each be purchased for $1.99 (approx. Rs. 90) through the Nintendo eShop or 200 Nintendo DSi Points.
