Warner Bros. and TT Games unleash Lego Ninjago for Nintendo DS

There unfurled an ever-expansive online realm of Lego Universe crammed with over 10 unique worlds for players to explore earlier in the month of October last year. The game’s publisher Warner Bros. along with producer TT Games is now bringing Lego Ninjago: The Videogame for Nintendo DS, a sequel to the much popular real time strategy game Lego Battles.

Announced as being an ‘epic family-friendly adventure’, Lego Ninjago will enable players to master the art of Spinjitzu which allows characters to spin and transform into tornadoes and wipe out their enemies. Two single-player campaigns are offered in the game, ‘good’ and ‘evil’ to test gamers’ skills across various Battle Mode challenges, whereas a multiplayer showdown awaits for players to indulge in with family and friends.

“Lego Ninjago: The Videogame offers players a humorous way to immerse themselves further in the Lego Ninjago toy line with action packed battles,” commented Tom Stone, Managing Director, TT Games Publishing. “It is great to build upon the success of the first LEGO Battles game and expand the Lego Ninjago world with new and classic Lego characters.”

With recoverable powerful Ninja weapons, challenges featuring dragons, extravagant battles and an intriguing storyline including cameos by fan favorites from Lego Battles, Lego Ninjago: The Videogame is packed with bountiful of action and fun for the whole family. The game also allows players to build and customize a personal army of Spinjitzu heroes or Skulkin villains and set them out on missions to conquer the enemy. Moreover, Ninjago features refined graphics and effects, two original multiplayer feats from Lego Battles along with four new multiplayer challenges.

Alongside, Lego Group has also announced the release of the Lego Ninjago construction sets as well as a new Ninjago world within the Lego Universe MMOG. Lego Ninjago: The Videogame is set to launch in Spring this year and is reported to complement the series of the new Lego Ninjago products that will be unleashed all throughout the year. No pricing details regarding the game have been revealed as of yet.
