Nyko Technologies has previously brought to the forefront the Intercooler STS and Charge Base S for Xbox 360 as well as motion-sensing PS3 and Wii accessories. These peripherals were announced at the prestigious CES event held earlier this year. Just last month, the company revealed a pair of add-ons for the Nintendo 3DS system. Now these offerings namely the Charge Base and Power Pak+ are now available online as well as at major retail stores.

The Power Pak+ is noted to be a high capacity rechargeable battery pack that touts to bring 3DS owners double the battery life and capacity of the standard 3DS battery. There are also debossed finger rests that offers comfortable and controlled gaming. On the other hand, the Nyko Charge Base is a drop-in storage and charging solution which features a Power Pak+ rechargeable battery pack. In addition to this, the accessory also includes a special charging dock that can accommodate and charge the 3DS and battery simultaneously. There is also an on/off switch and LED indicator lights.
Players can employ standard 3DS AC adaptor while recharging the Power Pak+ and the Charge Base which are respectively priced at 19.99 USD (approx. Rs. 900) and 29.99 USD (approx. Rs. 1,350).
