Link fans have reason to celebrate this month as their beloved The Legend of Zelda game series turns 25 and in commemoration of this event, there is a special Nintendo Limited Edition The Legend of Zelda 25th Anniversary bundle being fashioned for the Nintendo 3DS. This offering is slated to burst forth with the Hyrule emblem and golden-colored embellishments.
Furthermore, the special pack will contain a copy of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D game which is specially made for exploiting the features of the 3DS. Originally a Nintendo 64 title, the game is completely re-mastered for the portable platform with 3D graphics. Other elements also present in the bundle include a special dual sided sleeve where the classic game sleeve design is etched out front while the back features the limited edition sleeve drenched in a golden hue.
Players are called upon to ride out once again with the heroic young lad called Link as he embarks on a quest to save Hyrule from the clutches of Ganondorf, the Gerudo King of Thieves. The game is infused with various foes and interesting characters as well as mythical temples, vast landscapes, towns, dungeons and villages, all of which have been given the 3D treatment. The control scheme of the title is also revamped to suit the 3DS capabilities.
Nintendo Limited Edition The Legend of Zelda 25th Anniversary bundle is expected to hit stores on November 25, 2011. The company hasn’t yet revealed the exact price tag of the offering.
