This week’s downloadable Nintendo games are all about cracking puzzles and completing challenges. Games like Go Series Picdun, Dreamwalker, Crazy Cheebo: Puzzle Party for the Nintendo Dsi and Ubongo for the Wii have been revealed for puzzle enthusiasts. ‘Solve puzzles just by walking and sleeping’ – now that sounds exciting.
GO Series PicDun is a single player RPG, in which gamers have to explore the dark dungeon and their each step will reveal a new picture. Solving puzzles will open hidden passages and players can use the pedometer to step carefully on hidden images, while attacking and defending with their sword and shield to unleash killer blows. Going deeper in the dungeon upgrades weapons and equipments that enable enthusiasts to battle creatures. They need to pass through 60 floors that have a picture which is more detailed than the other, keeping them glued to the video game screen for a long time
Dreamwalker is a single player fantasy game. ‘Walker’ who is wandering the land of dreams and is among the clouds and stars has to be guided through Dreamland to Sunrise, making sure isn’t woken up. Walker can be disturbed by alarm clocks, early birds and nightmares. This action puzzle game tests player’s presence of mind in giving Walker a sound sleep, in a least possible time and getting rewards for the same. 40 levels in the game add up the challenge of keeping him asleep, with disappearing rain clouds, disorienting spinners and teleporters, involving enthusiasts for a long time in the gameplay.
A maximum of two players can indulge in the Crazy Cheebo: Puzzle Party drag-and-drop-style matching game. The objective of the game is to swap two objects to get a horizontal or vertical set of three or more objects of similar color. Creating combos by matching objects will win players awards. The Crazy Cheebo character and humorous videos, along with colorful graphics doubles the fun. Players can share a laugh while playing with friends in multiplayer games too.
Ubongo is a simple puzzle game with a 4 player limit. Players have to solve puzzles and acquire gems of the same color. At the end of the gameplay time, players with the most similar colored gems win. Game modes include History mode, Quick mode, Time attack and multiplayer mode.
GO Series PicDun and Dreamwalker are priced at 500 Nintendo DSi Points each while Crazy Cheebo: Puzzle Party will cost 200 Nintendo DSi Points. Ubongo will set gamers back by 800 Wii Points.
