The game is said to encompass the hedgehog’s 20 year long journey in the terrain. Depicting vibrant images from the character’s personal history, the title will manifest gameplay in stereoscopic 3D on the console. The plot of the game revolves around a baffling power which has wreaked havoc, transporting Sonic and his friends back into time.

By employing the 3DS’ StreetPass feature, gamers can gather varied content as well as access bonus material. These additional offerings will be available as and when they pass another enthusiast. Furthermore, it features two-player versus mode along with an exclusive unlockable ‘Special Stage,’ facilitating enthusiasts to explore in-game environments.

Sonic Generations has been slated to release this November for the Xbox 360, PS3 and Nintendo 3DS.
