Nintendo DS gamers are in for a treat! Through the clutter of innumerable titles, Atari has compiled 50 of the most popular games in Atari’s Greatest Hits: Volume 1. Enveloping some of the interesting titles from Atari Arcade and Atari 2600, this compilation brings together blockbusters such as Asteroids, Pong, Missile Command, Tempest, Space Duel, Battlezone and more.
Though the games in the pack have been updated to suit the Nintendo DS, they continue to boast the same pick-up and play controls as in their unique form. Titles such as Space Duel, Pong and 18 others will feature single-card multiplayer as well as multi-card play. Additionally, the volume will encompass the original manuals for each game, an Atari memorabilia showcase and special bonus extras.

Gamers can set their consoles to jump into the world of Asteroids, Gravitar, Lunar Lander, Missile Command amongst other from the Atari Arcade zone. The assortment also flaunts 3D Tic-Tac-Toe, Championship Soccer, Football, Math Gran Prix, Outlaw, Sky Diver and others from the 2600 club. Further, players can participate in an Atari Trivia game by answering questions about the company’s history and posting their scores on the official website.
Atari’s Greatest Hits: Vol. 1 will be released for North American Nintendo DS gamers at the price of 29.99 USD (approx. Rs. 1,407) this fall.
