Hudson Soft’s North American publishing division Hudson Entertainment is responsible for dishing out titles. These include BeyBlade: Metal Fusion, Deca Sports 3, Deca Sports DS, Creature Defence for the PSP and many other captivating games. Now Hudson Soft has announced that it will fashion exclusive titles for the Nintendo 3DS handheld gaming console.
The company is busy developing a brand new installment in the acclaimed Bomberman franchise for the 3DS system. This trademark IP of Hudson Soft has reportedly sold over 10 million units during its long history. The company is also currently creating a new game in the Deca Sports franchise as well as one for the ball-rolling Kororinpa franchise. The former sports offerings have collectively sold 3 million units all over the globe.
Dai Kudo, Director of Consumer Products commented, “We are anticipating that this new system will allow us to create great new content for Hudson fans. The Nintendo 3DS is going to change the way games are experienced, and we look forward to playing a part of the initial movement into this new dimension of entertainment.”
Hudson Soft has expressed its thrill to formulate titles for the new Nintendo handheld system. The 3DS allows players to indulge in three dimension games without the need of employing any optical peripherals to gain that same effect. At E3 2010, loads of titles were showcased including retro games which exploited the 3D capability of the gaming system.
The company hasn’t yet disclosed the exact titles release dates or pricing details of the upcoming games.
