Last week as DSiWare there were any Electroplankton titles released. This week DSiWare carries seven titles, five of them Electroplankton games. Castle of Magic, myNotebook: Blue, as well as Electroplankton Luminarrow, Electroplankton Sun-Animalcule, Electroplankton Lumiloop, Electroplankton Marine-Crystals, and Electroplankton Varvoice are available as DSiWare.
In Castle of Magic, you must try to save your friend from the claws of the magician Nefastax. Along the way you face wild monsters in environments which influence your movements. A Nintendo DSi Camera application allows you to transform yourself into various powerful new forms. You can even customize game objects such as coins and enemies. myNotebook: Blue is an application which allows you to take notes wherever you are, and you can simply open up your DSi, and pen your thoughts. You can also personalize your notebook by scribbling on the cover, and use 18 unlockable paper styles. myNotebook: Blue is from Nnooo and is available for 200 Nintendo DSi Points.
Electroplankton Luminarrow from Nintendo is another title that finds itself among the many Electroplankton titles. Luminarrow plankton follow arrow-shaped formations, and they spin as they move, changing direction immediately when they come in contact with an arrow pointing in the opposite direction. The pitch of sound emitted also changes. Four types of Luminarrow are found, red, yellow, green and blue, each with its own distinctive musical tone. Drifting together, the different types of Luminarrow create beautiful melodies. Electroplankton Luminarrow is available for 200 Nintendo DSi Points.
The Sun-Animalcule plankton emit light in a sphere around themselves. Starting off as eggs, these plankton grow and begin to emit light and sounds. The sounds produced change as the plankton grow. Electroplankton Sun-Animalcule is available for 200 Nintendo DSi Points.
Lumiloop plankton are donut-shaped aquatic creatures that are curious by nature. They spin and emit unique sounds and a spectacular ring-shaped glow. They seem to grow in clusters of five, and produce sounds of varying pitch, creating a beautiful harmony. Electroplankton Lumiloop is also available for 200 Nintendo DSi Points.
Electroplankton Marine-Crystals features plankton which resemble snow crystals, and float on the water’s surface. Marine-Crystal plankton grow in clusters of 35 and have extremely orderly formations. They can also spin and produce sound, and are found in four shapes, triangle, square, pentagon and hexagon. Electroplankton Marine-Crystals is for one player and can be purchased by redeeming 200 Nintendo DSi Points.
Rounding up the week’s DSiWare is the title Electroplankton Varvoice. The Varvoice plankton have the ability to memorize the sounds of human speech and repeat them over and over.
