Much like its earlier counterparts, MMSF3 is a distinct combination of an action and role-playing game (RPG). The title blends in high intensity which is signature to the Mega Man combat games with the strategic battle system of Star Force. The game enables player to earn battle cards by simply defeating enemies and boss characters. These battle cards will help gamers enhance the abilities and attack moves of Mega Man.

While journeying between the physical world and the digital world through electromagnetic waves that form interesting wave roads, gamers will take up the role of the central character Geo Stelar. Sporting a visualizer tool, the protagonist has the ability to view these wave roads. On entering the digital world, Geo can transform into Mega Man by merging with the electronic life-form Omega-Xis. The player’s environment and powers can be altered in many ways with the mysterious noise generated by an approaching gigantic meteor that runs over the wave roads.

In his quest to save the two worlds from threats of the meteor, Geo Stellar and his crew will be combating the oncoming threat. With an ability to transform into Black Ace or Red Joker, Mega Man also has the power to control the Noise with the new Noise Change system. Mega Man Star Force 3 is packed with content that will put gamers up for some thrilling battles while they explore and collect across the digital world.

Mega Man Star Force 3 for Nintendo DS is expected to reach stores in North America around early summer 2009.
