Square Enix is the video game publisher best known for its console role playing game franchises such as the Final Fantasy series, the Dragon Quest series, and the Kingdom Hearts series. Now Square Enix has announced that Dragon Quest: Wars is available for download via Nintendo DSiWare. The game is the latest offering in the series for the handheld system.
Dragon Quest: Wars features turn-based strategy gameplay across several challenging rounds. Players can choose from Chimaera, Dracky, Hammerhood, Healslime and Slime, and the game is played across a table-top styled arena. The aim of the game is to advance to the other side of the arena.

Fans of the series will enjoy a pick-up-and-play Dragon Quest adventure featuring favourite monsters from the series, while newcomers will be captivated by the compelling gameplay and ease of use.”
The game makes full use of the Nintendo’s functionality, and up to four teams can battle it out in the same arena taking advantage of the handheld’s wireless capabilities. Dragon Quest: Wars features a rating points system, which ensures that all gamers extract a competitive and challenging experience from the game.
Dragon Quest: Wars is available for the Nintendo DSi as DSiWare and can be downloaded for 500 Nintendo DSi Points.
