Square Enix Set To Release Puzzle Bobble and Space Invaders Extreme 2

Square Enix recently released Space Invaders Extreme on Xbox Live, a game based on the arcade video game, Space Invaders by Taito. Now Square Enix announces two new video games for the Nintendo DS, Space Invaders Extreme 2 and Puzzle Bobble Galaxy, from Taito which are based on classic video game franchises.

Puzzle Bobble Galaxy

Puzzle Bobble features the lovable duo Bub and Bob as they traverse the galaxy battling enemies who want to rule the universe. Players must shoot a canon to match colors of the bubbles at the top of the screen, and collect points to buy merchandise including staff roll bubbles, extra modes, and arrows. The game features a few mini games such as Pressure, in which players get just one bubble with which to clear the level. Up to four players can torment each other with special bubbles, using the DS Wireless Play connectivity and the Nintendo Wi-Fi connection.
