Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Mobilized for Nintendo DS coming in November

Call of Duty is the super hit first person shooter video game franchise from Activision initially released for the PC. The series later boiled over to consoles. Now Activision Publishing has announced Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Mobilized for the Nintendo DS. The game is scheduled for a November 2009 release.

The Nintendo DS exclusive game is currently in development with n-Space, the same developer that made the other two DS COD games. Mobilized will feature a whole treasure trove of state-of-the-art weapons, vehicles as well as tactics to help players answer the call of duty. Gameplay is deep and features tactical building-to-building combat, while players can hop into battle tanks, hack into enemy computers, and get behind the guns of an AC-130 gunship.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Mobilized will bring to the table a host of features including a six player online multiplayer mode, a completely new Survival Mode and an Arcade Mode. In the Survival Mode, players must keep waves of enemy forces at bay, while the Arcade Mode lets players revisit the game’s single-player, with a time limit now attached.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Mobilized is expected to be released worldwide on November 10, 2009 along with Infinity Ward’s Modern Warfare 2, which is also scheduled to release on the same day. Prices have not been revealed.
