Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth from Capcom coming to Nintendo DS

Recently, Nintendo and Capcom announced a premium edition Ace Attorney DSi bundle. Capcom has now announced that their new game Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth is planned for a winter 2009 release across the PAL territories on the Nintendo DS platform. The latest addition to the Ace Attorney franchise, AAI: Miles Edgeworth takes place out of the courtroom and at crime scenes.

According to a statement issued by Capcom, the game focuses more on “the other side of the judicial system” and adds a whole new gameplay dynamic to the Ace Attorney universe. Players embody Miles Edgeworth and poke around at various locales, interact directly with characters at the scene and discover the truth by following the evidence. Capcom’s Motohide Eshiro is working on the game, having directed Onimusha 2, Shadow of Rome and co-produced Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Justice For All and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trials and Tribulations.

The famous rival prosecutor of Phoenix Wright, Miles Edgeworth became a prosecutor when he was as young as 20 years old. But after numerous clashes with Phoenix Wright, he changed his outlook when it comes to getting to the truth. In Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth, wherever Miles goes, he is followed by a string of deaths and desperate to find the truth he delves into the mysteries of crime scene investigation.
