Board games are real fun to play and from the last few years German strategy board games have been very popular with the crowd. One such board game from Germany is Settlers of Catan. A video game title based on it was also released on the Xbox Live Arcade last year.
Now gaming news blog Wired Game Life is reporting that Settlers of Catan will also hit the Nintendo DS. So what can gamers expect from Settlers of Catan for the DS? Well, a mobile version of the game was released earlier this year. It was called as Catan: The First Island. The DS version will apparently be a port of the mobile game, which did feature multiplayer.
Not much information about Settlers of Catan for the Nintendo DS was revealed. The Catan game on XBLA was quite popular with the Xbox 360 gamers and it seems that Nintendo DS gamers too will get to enjoy the game.
