One of the eagerly awaited action films of the year is Death Race. As the norm has become these days, most of the movies, especially action movies have video game adaptations. Now Universal Pictures and Gameloft have sent word about the official Death Race mobile game.
The mobile game based on Death Race movie will see gamers race in one of the 7 steel beasts that features in the film. The game has five-episode Story Mode that has challenges like Race, Rampage, Eliminator, Shooter and Boss Battles. Gamers will also be able to unlock new lethal weapons and cars as the story progresses.

The Death Race mobile game will be developed and published by Gameloft. It will release on all major carrier decks sometime in August 2008. The Death Race movie will be out on August 22, 2008. It is directed by Paul W. S. Anderson.
