World of Warcraft to receive Warlords of Draenor expansion in 2014

BlizzCon 2013 is upon us, and big news coming in from the event is that World of Warcraft is to soon be blessed with an expansion called Warlords of Draenor. It’s playable to attendees right now, but Blizzard has stopped short of revealing when it will be made available for purchase, with just having indicated that it’ll be out sometime in 2014. The title of this expansion will be familiar to some, for it had leaked out a while ago through trademark listings.

Warlords of Draenor will allow players of the MMORPG to the visit the homeworld of the orcs at a time prior to when it was shattered into what is now known as Outland. The cool part is that one of all player characters will directly be able to jump to level 90 while playing this expansion. This also counts for a newly created character.

Furthermore, those who indulge in the Warlords of Draenor pack for World of Warcraft will also be enabled to construct their own expandable and customizable stronghold, called Garrison. And as they will progress, they’ll be able to employ NPC allies and followers to stay at their Garrisons and perform tasks like gathering resources and embarking on missions.

And then, revamped player character models and animations have also been announced by Blizzard to form part of the expansion. This new pack will raise the game’s level cap to 100, and will even bring in questing improvements aimed at encouraging exploration and adding unpredictability.
