World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria Release Date Finally Out

Paying heed to immense anticipation amongt fans, Blizzard has at last made known the release date of the World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria expansion which will act as the fourth such pack for the MMORPG. It is all set to be made available on September 25, 2012 for PC and Mac through retail as well as in the form of a digital download.

Blizzard has also announced that pre-orders for the expansion are being taken currently. Gamers can either go for its standard version or choose between a special Collector’s Edition and a Digital Deluxe variant. The latter version comes equipped with exclusive in-game bonus items that include a mount and a pet from World of Warcraft, StarCraft II Battle.net portraits as well as Diablo III banner sigil and accent.

“Mists of Pandaria contains the biggest variety of new content we’ve ever created for a World of Warcraft expansion, with features that will appeal to new players, veterans, and everyone in between. We’ve received a lot of great feedback from players during our most extensive beta test yet, and we hope they enjoy exploring everything Pandaria has to offer when the expansion comes out in September,” shared Mike Morhaime, CEO and cofounder of Blizzard Entertainment.

The higher-priced Collector’s Edition of World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria will proffer fans with all the contents of the Digital Deluxe edition as well as real-world items like a behind-the-scenes DVD and Blu-Ray and a soundtrack CD. Moreover, it will also kick in a 208-page hardcover art-book and a special Chen Stormstout mouse pad.

Slated to release for PC and Mac on September 25, the World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria expansion will be made available at a price of 39.99 USD (approx. Rs. 2,245). The Digital Deluxe version on the other hand will sell for 59.99 USD (approx. Rs. 3,370), whereas the Collector’s Edition will go for 79.99 USD (approx. Rs. 4,490).
