Allies game update for Star Wars: The Old Republic Now Live

Group Finder, Ranked PvP Warzones, Adaptive Gear, fresh enhancements to the Legacy system and more form part of the Allies update which can be downloaded now by Star Wars: The Old Republic gamers. Titled game update 1.3, this is the third big patch for the MMORPG, with the first two – Rise of Rakghouls and Legends – having been released in January and April, respectively.

The Group Finder trait from this update will supposedly make it easier for gamers join other players. It enables them to connect with others who wish to tackle the same Flashpoint or Operation that they do, while making sure that the group is filled out with combat disciplines that complement each other. Furthermore, the new Ranked Warzones are all set to make their way into Star Wars: The Old Republic with more challenging and rewarding offerings. With this patch, gamers will be able to create a group, compete in ranked warzones and track their personal performances against that of others.

Matthew Bromberg, General Manager of BioWare Austin, commented, “We are living up to our commitment in setting a new bar for what players should expect from a premium MMO service. In just six months, we have already released three major game updates that have added new content and game features that have addressed the feedback from our fans. And we are just getting started. By the end of this year, we are adding more Warzones, more Flashpoints, more Operations, more updates to the Legacy System, new companions, new storylines and more. We are very excited about the future.”
