Square Enix Rolls Out Online Payment Option, Crysta

It seems that the next installment in the final fantasy series has prepared to strongly mark its presence throughout the gaming terrain. Even before Final Fantasy XIV hits stores this month, the title has generated massive curiosity amongst gamers. To enable a hassle-free purchase of the title for players located in Europe and other Pal territories, Square Enix has introduced a new online payment method dubbed Crysta.

“The introduction of Crysta is an exciting step for Square Enix,” enunciated Phil Rogers, President and Chief Executive of Square Enix Europe. “Our business is actively looking to create new on-line entertainment and deliver high quality content and services and having a safe and simple payment method is an important part of our online strategy.”

Allowing gamers to indulge in the MMORPG, Crysta was unrolled for ensuring smooth acquisition of the game’s special Collector’s Edition. Gamers who have still not procured the Collector’s Edition can now make payment towards the game by employing Crysta.

Final Fantasy XIV has been slated for a September 30, 2010 release and will be available at the price of 49.99 USD (approx. Rs. 2,261). After purchasing the title, gamers will need to pay a monthly subscription amount of 12.99 USD (approx. Rs. 587) or 8.99 GBP (approx. Rs. 641).
