Ubisoft has now disclosed a massively multiplayer online game dubbed Petz World, enabling gamers to raise virtual pets.
Chris Early, Vice President of Digital Publishing at Ubisoft, enthused, “Ubisoft is excited to be propelling its popular Petz brand into the MMO space. This game is a unique way for children and parents to play games together. Petz World allows players to share their progress and adventures, helping each other to receive more coins, achievements and unlockables.”
This free-to-play game has been developed for kids and tweens around the globe who wish to adopt pets in this adventurous world. Players can not only own a pet but also set out for an amazing time in the title’s realistic environment. They will have the opportunity to unravel new locations, come across exotic animals as well as save some of them. It has been revealed that gamers will always have something more to discover as fresh settings, animals and more will be introduced.
Developed by Frima Studios and published by Ubisoft, Petz World will be available for PC gamers in 2011.
