MAG is the upcoming MMO shooter title for the PS3 currently in development. Now Chris Munson, Product Marketing Manager for SCEA writing on the PlayStation Blog, has announced the pre-order items for MAG. The items range from three exclusive in-game characters to the one-of-a-kind Home Space, and even include the long-awaited Public Beta access.
The exclusive S.V.E.R. (Seryi Volk Executive Response) Hazard Trooper in-game character sports the Hazard Improved Helmet, Hazard Improved Ballistic Vest, and the unique Hazard Camo Pattern. An S.V.E.R operative’s main goal is to instill fear in the hearts of their opponents. The second in-game character is the exclusive Raven Industries operative which comes with a Spyder Reinforced 2nd Gen Helmet, a Spyder Camo Pattern, and Spyder Reinforced 2nd Gen Composite. The Spyder materials are stealthy yet defensive, and enable the operatives to take control of the battle. The last in-game character is the exclusive Valor in-game operative which comes with the Bulldog Mk 2 Helmet, the Bulldog Mk 2 Reinforced Fiber and a unique Bulldog Camo Pattern. The Valor Company uniform goes perfectly with their, “Improvise, adapt, and overcome” motto.
There will also be an exclusive S.V.E.R. PlayStation Home Space with the custom-made look of the unique PMC, and focuses on beige and earth-coloured gear. The one-of-a-kind space is perfect for fans who believe that fear and intimidation are the crucial elements that any good fighting force needs. Also among the pre-order bonuses is the MAG Public Beta Access, which will be open 24 hours a day from October 12, 2009 to November 20, 2009.
