The Final Fantasy series is quite a prolific franchise which comprises not only video games but even printed media, anime and motion pictures. Now Square Enix has announced an all new entry in the Final Fantasy series called Final Fantasy XIV. The game delivers to players an adventure experience in the “vast realm of Eorzea!”.
The fourteenth installment in the Final Fantasy series has been planned for a simultaneous worldwide release and features English, French, German and Japanese language support. Just like Final Fantasy XI for the Xbox 360, PS2 and Windows PC, Final Fantasy XIV will be a massively multiplayer online role playing game (an MMORPG).
Final Fantasy XIV will be released in 2010 for Windows PC and the PS3 with the PC requirements to be announced later. The game is being produced by Hiromichi Tanaka and directed by Nobuaki Komoto while music is by Nobuo Uematsu. The price and subscription fee for the game have not been announced yet.
