The Dead Rising series is a trilogy now, but only two of its three games have been included in a collection which will be released exclusively for the Xbox 360 in March this year. This bundle will be loaded with the first two titles as well as their additional content packs. Capcom will be releasing this compilation on March 7, although its exact price is still to be revealed by the publisher.
To be precise, this collection has been infused with copies of Dead Rising and Dead Rising 2, apart from the latter’s prologue Case Zero and add-ons like Off the Record and Case West. So far it has only been announced for Europe, and it’s also not clear whether platforms other than the Xbox 360 will be getting it or not. However there’s less possibility of that happening since the first game from the series was not released for any other platform than the Xbox 360.
Developed by Capcom, these games revolve around zombie outbreaks and center or their protagonists’ efforts to counter the undead creatures. They tread the survival horror genre, and take place in open world environments. While the first game was released way back in 2006, its sequel had come out in 2010. And it was late last year that Dead Rising 3 was launched exclusively for the Xbox One console. This next-gen iteration has already managed to trade off 1 million copies worldwide.
Like we said, the Dead Rising Collection doesn’t have a price yet, but what we know is that it will be out in Europe on March 7.
