There’s a possibility that current players of Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition will be able to transfer their saved game files onto the Xbox One when the game will be launched for the next-gen console. Nothing’s final at the moment, but 4J Studios, the developer responsible for porting the game onto these consoles has said that it’s currently working on ways with which they could achieve the goal.
Answering a question from a fan on Twitter, 4J Studios revealed this news through its official account on the micro-blogging site. It also mentioned that nothing can be counted as certain until ‘it’s 100% working.’ If true, this sounds like wonderful news to those Minecraft fans who’ll be investing in an Xbox One, for they’ll be able to import their already-built worlds into the next-gen version without much hitch.
The sandbox brick building phenomenon that Minecraft is first came out in the form of an alpha release in 2009 only for PC. Following this, it made its way to a full-fledged launch in 2011, and was quick to grab immense attention due to its unique nature. Then came its Android and iOS versions which compressed its offerings in way that it was almost as enjoyable on mobile devices as it is on PCs.
.@stampylongnose We're working on ways to move Xbox 360 saves to Xbox One with Microsoft. Can't say it'll be there until it's 100% working.

At E3 this year, the Xbox One edition of the title was announced, whereas Gamescom 2013 saw the showcase of versions meant for the PS3, PS Vita as well as the PS4. All these variants are at the moment under development from 4J Studios.
