Michael Phelps – Push The Limit Hits Stores in North America with Kinect Integration

Publisher 505 Games announced yesterday, the North American release of its new game titled Michael Phelps – Push the Limit which can currently be purchased on the Kinect for Xbox 360. Named after the well-known swimmer, this game will allow players to compete against each other as well as Michael Phelps himself.

Apart from the Career mode which enables gamers to swim through locations across the world, the title will also offer quick matches in single player or local/online multiplayer modes. 505 Games’ partnership with the brand Speedo has resulted in its logo appearing on all in-game swimwear and caps, as well as on the touch pads within the pool environments.

The game’s Kinect integration makes for realistic player input, thus allowing gamers to perform real swimming moves. Activities like hyping up the crowd, diving, rhythm swimming, timing turns and reaching to the walls can be performed by using body and hand gestures. This title has been developed by Blitz Games who is known for games like Yoostar 2 and Biggest Loser.

Michael Phelps – Push The Limit is now available for purchase in North America on the Kinect for Xbox 360 at a price of 49.99 USD (approx. Rs. 2,467).
