Microsoft’s 4GB Xbox 360 consoles to retail in India by October end

With the array of shops in marketplaces and pedestrian stalls preparing to lighten up their rooftops and miniature billboards for the advent of Diwali, gamers are predicted to be presented with their own kind of glees. Avowing the desires of these enthusiastic thrill-seekers, Microsoft’s new 4GB Xbox 360 console is scheduled to be delivered for Indian customers by this October end.

Being technically ready for the much-awaited motion sensing Kinect, this new Xbox 360 variant is the second next generation console presented by Microsoft India. After having started retailing in the US and the UK back in August this year, this 4GB console is claimed to be best value for money available at present.

The 4GB Xbox 360 is polished with a black matte finish and is equipped with 4GB of internal flash memory in addition to the touch-sensitive buttons. Flaunting a lustrously fresh exterior caging, the new console vents five USB ports with an onboard optical digital audio and one dedicated Kinect port. The console allows players to be in touch with 25 million Live members and is powered with built-in Wi-Fi.

Attached with an expected price tag of Rs. 14,990, the 4GB Xbox 360 is reported to be set for sales by the end of October 2010 and will be purchasable from all leading organized retail stores throughout India. The other derivatives of Xbox 360, namely Arcade Console and 250GB version are continuing to be sold at Rs. 11,990 and Rs. 21,990 respectively.
