With their recent success at the Grammys, it’s no doubt that Coldplay’s tracks feature on the game Lips for the Xbox 360 from Microsoft Game Studios. Coldplay took away three Grammy Awards including Best Rock Album. The song pack will be the first downloadable content for Lips and is scheduled for a release on March 13, 2009. Three of Coldplay’s best songs feature on the pack comprising of ‘The Scientist’, ‘Speed of Sound’ and ‘In My Place’.
The tracks for Lips which are available as of now are Speed Up by Funkerman, How to Save a Life by The Fray, Swing Life Away by Rise Against, The Adventure by Angels and Airwaves, Amber by 311 and In The Shadows by The Rasmus. From March 6, 2009 Hook me Up by The Veronicas, Lips of an Angel by Hinder and Shake It by Metro Station will be available. And from March 13, 2009 Lips fans can download the three Coldplay tracks.
An update to the game should be released by early March which grants players superior scoring and enhanced vibrato detection. Also, a worldwide leaderboard is added enabling fans to gauge their performances against those of other Lips fans.
