Fable II is the highly acclaimed role playing game from Lionhead, and has sold more than 2.6 million copies worldwide. Now Lionhead has announced that they will be making available some new content termed ‘See the Future’ which will be available for download exclusively on the Xbox Live Marketplace.
In ‘See the Future’, Murgo the Trader has come in possession of three mysterious items which are cursed, and players must lift the curses from these items in order to restore balance and color to the world. Players who succeed will receive a quest providing the vision of the future of Albion.
The ‘See the Future’ content will bring with it new creatures, artifacts, characters and events, including:
Murgo: Returning to Bowerstone Market, Murgo brings new goods and wares, which include a portion capable of turning a friendly canine into a new breed.
The Ghosts of Snowglobe Quest: This is a quest to free the ghosts which were once peaceful villagers from a small village in Albion.
The Cursed Knight Quest: The Cursed Knight has been banished to the land beyond the dead and waits for a hero to free him from his fate.
The Colosseum: Cutting down even the Crucible, the Colesseum puts players’ skills to the ultimate test, in order to prove themselves in battle.
Fable II is developed by Lionhead and published by Microsoft Game Studios. The ‘See the Future’ add-on will be made available in May 2009 and is expected to be for 560 Microsoft Points for the premium content package.
