Remember the Naruto: Rise of a Ninja game that was released by Ubisoft in October last year. The game got a decent reception and there was a huge possibility that Ubisoft could get a sequel. Now Ubisoft has sent word about Naruto: The Broken Bond for the Xbox 360.

Christian Salomon is the vice president of worldwide licensing at Ubisoft. He commented, “Featuring vibrant and imaginatively detailed settings, Naruto: The Broken Bond will take players on an epic journey through an accurately recreated Naruto world.”

Salomon added, “We are eager to continue in the Naruto: Rise of a Ninja tradition, boasting the only video game in the franchise that features an online multiplayer mode that lets players compete against their friends in tournaments over the Xbox Live, online entertainment network, and also gives players the opportunity to relive genuine moments of the animation, while exploring the open universe of Naruto.”

Naruto: The Broken Bond sees the protagonist evolve into a well-respected Ninja. However, Sasuke, who is his best friend and Ninja teammate, becomes envious of his new abilities and status. Orochimaru fully exploits the circumstances as he persuades Sasuke to leave his friends. Just like the earlier game, The Broken Bond will also have an online multiplayer mode that will let gamers take on other gamers in an online tournament mode.
