We had waited for a long time to get the Xbox 360, but for the Xbox Live, we thought enough is enough. Xbox Live is still not available in India, but we got it somehow. The “12-Month Xbox Live Gold Pack” has just reached out GHQ.
You must be wondering why I am writing this instead of playing with the world. Actually, we are downloading the new Gears of Wars maps, a 97 MB download. We have a 512 kbps connection, so it is going to take a long time, yeah most of our staff; especially the managing editor is draining the bandwidth watching ‘Big Brother’ videos on YouTube.
Until the Gear of War maps get downloaded I will tell you what we got in the Xbox Live subscription pack. Firstly, it has a 12-Month Gold Subscription (Of course), then there is the Xbox Live Vision Camera and the Xbox 360 Headset. We also got two Xbox Live Arcade Games, UNO and Robotron: 2084 along with 200 Microsoft Points. Just checked, only 76% done!
And what shall we do with the 12 month Xbox Live Subscription? We are planning to play Gears of War online. With the Xbox Live Vision Camera, we are aiming to use the “Scan Your Face” option for Rainbow Six: Vegas. Of course, we will also play UNO and Robotron: 2084 on Xbox Live Arcade.
Again, there will be a dearth of posts on GameGuru.in and you know what to blame. But we still hope that Microsoft comes out with the Xbox Live Service in India very soon. Ok Gotta Go, 99% already done.
