2K Sports has churned out games like the College Hoops, All-Pro Football and Top Spin series. Now they are all set to bring out a boxing game with a difference as they have announced Don King Presents: Prizefighter, which is being touted as most realistic boxing video game simulation.

Don King Presents: Prizefighter is an in-depth, documentary-style title that is expected to have authentic and entertaining experience. It will have live action match-ups and the true tactics of the sweet science. Gamers will be responsible for building a career by overcoming difficulty, avoiding lure, and balancing their commitments to train and promote. All this, while focusing on the goal of eventually winning and defending the title belt. What’s makes the game so realistic is that the story in Don King Presents: Prizefighter will be told in a ground-breaking sports documentary-style narrative.

Don King Presents: Prizefighter has been developed by Venom Games. They have previously worked on games such as Rocky and Rocky Legends. Prizefighter is expected to release in spring 2008 for the Nintendo DS, Wii and the Xbox 360. 2K Sports has stated that the different versions of the game will exploit the unique hardware features of each platform.
