Major Nelson was banned temporarily from Xbox Live by one of the teams that handle tools for Xbox Live.
This is what Microsoft’s Major “Larry” Nelson had to say:
Unbeknownst to me, they decided to test some of their tools giving Major Nelson a voice ban, resulting in the screen shot above. They let me suffer for a few hours before quietly removing the ban. I’ll get even with them, don’t worry.
Xbox Live has a strict code of conduct and it bans as well as “voice-bans” the users who are racist or overly obnoxious.
According to Xbox Live’s Code Of Conduct:
We’re not talking about an occasional four-letter word. We’re talking about the people who scream, make racially derogatory comments, or are so obnoxious that they detract from the fun for everyone else on Xbox Live.
