A few months ago, Ubisoft unveiled a new Prince of Persia game, much to the delight of the fans. Just as it is with blockbuster games these days, downloadable content is apparently planned for the new Prince of Persia too. Now Ubisoft has pointed out that they want the Prince of Persia DLC to be significant.
Ben Mattes is the producer of Prince of Persia. He told Gamersyde in a video interview, “We certainly have plans for downloadable content, (but) we cannot really say more than that right now. The intention is to do downloadable content that adds significant value, so I don’t think you’ll see downloadable content of a new skin or a new weapon or something like that.”
Mattes later explained that if they are going to do it, they will be working on a new story and a new experience. According to the producer, gamers can expect a prequel or a sequel. Ben Mattes mentioned that it will be out next year but he wasn’t sure about the dates and informed that it was still in discussion.
