Roccat Unveils New Gaming Peripherals at CES 2012

A range of new gaming peripherals is currently being displayed by Roccat at the ongoing CES in Las Vegas. Aimed particularly at markets in the U.S., these products include the Isku Illuminated Gaming Keyboard, the Kone[+] Max Customization Gaming Mouse and the Kave 5.1 Surround Sound Gaming Headset.

Roccat Isku Keyboard

The Isku Illuminated Gaming Keyboard which is said to offer the simplest and most convenient way to achieve pinpoint sniping accuracy in games, comes equipped with the Roccat Talk protocol. This technology allows the keyboard to connect with the Kone[+] mouse to supposedly offer easy and quick execution of mouse macros. Furthermore, the Easy-Aim feature on this keyboard automatically optimizes the DPI setting on the Kone[+] to provide accuracy in shooing games.

Roccat Kone Plus Mouse

Sporting a 6000dpi Pro-Aim Laser Sensor, a 10.5 megapixel resolution and a 1000Hz polling rate, the Kone[+] Max Customization Gaming Mouse is claimed to proffer users with lightning fast mouse movements. Using its Easy-Shift[+] button, gamers can assign two fuctions to all the buttons present on this device including the scroll wheel. Its design is highlighted by four multicolor LEDs that come with enhanced lightpipes and configurable effects. The customization offerings on this mouse provide gamers with options to alter its button assignments, macros, DPI settings, sensor sensitivity level, profiles as well as its weight.

Roccat Kave 5.1 Headset

Last among this range of Roccat gaming peripherals is the Kave 5.1 Surround Sound Gaming Headset which apparently dishes out Realistic 3D sound through its 40 mm speakers. Moreover, additional vibration units arranged at 12 degree angles have also been implanted within each earcup. Its Tip’n’Control Desktop Remote gives gamers the ability to customize their desired sound profiles based on center, front, and rear channels as well as bass. A blue colored LED makes its way onto the boom mic of this device to indicate whether the mute function is enabled or not.

All the above mentioned gaming peripherals from Roccat can be spotted at the CES currently and will be made available in the U.S. during mid February. The Isku Illuminated Gaming Keyboard will be priced at 89.99 USD (approx. Rs. 4,660), while the Kone[+] Max Customization Gaming Mouse will go for 79.99 USD (approx. Rs. 4,145). Lastly, the Kave 5.1 Surround Sound Gaming Headset will retail at 119.99 USD (approx. Rs 6,215).
