Gamers who love playing PC titles can now take advantage of Nvidia’s latest offerings that come forward with enhanced performance as well as a new price tag. The company unveils the GeForce GTX 550 Ti graphics processor unit and a new version of Nvidia 3D Vision wireless glasses kit.
For DX11 titles, the new GPU is claimed to be the world’s fastest performance in the confines of its own class. Furthermore, it is 38% quicker in previous-generation DX9 and DX10 games as well as 50% faster in DX11 tessellated titles when compared to other competitive products within its league. Players can also take their PC gaming to a whole new level by adding a second GeForce GTX 550 Ti GPU.

Although the company released the Nvidia 3D Vision two years back, it has reintroduced the offering with a new version of the wireless glasses kit. The product enters with a new low cost and also boasts of offering 3D quality and features. The acclaimed glasses are able to support over 500 3D games and hardware and software partners as well as 3DVisionLive.com. Another enhancement that is seen in the latest version is the extended rechargeable battery life of 60 hours which is 50% more than the original.
As the company suggests, the GeForce GTX 550 Ti GPU bears an e-tail price of Rs. 9,490 and is available via add-in card partners like Zotac, Asus and MSI among others. The Nvidia 3D Vision kit is priced at 149 USD (approx. Rs. 6,725) and includes cables, a USB IR emitter and 3D Vision active shutter wireless glasses. An extra pair of 3D Vision wireless glasses can be bought for only 119 USD (approx. Rs. 5,371).
