It also catered to music enthusiasts as well as gamers with the release of the Orca headphones. Now the company expands its acclaimed line-up of high-end precision gaming peripherals by introducing the Razer BlackWidow mechanical gaming keyboard.
As the company suggests, this product is ideal for players on the lookout for comfort and enhance tactile feedback during gameplay. The Razer team has spent three years building what is claimed to be the world’s first mechanical keyboard fashioned specifically for gaming. Featuring a uniquely tactile mechanical key architecture, owners can expect a crisp response and tactile feedback. Along with the key actuation point halfway down the full travel distance of 4mm, the mechanical key structure in the keys offer better accuracy when pitted against standard mechanical keyboards.

According to Razer, the BlackWidow features a key actuation force of 50g which enables players to type as well as click much quicker than other mechanical keyboards. The company also states that this newly-introduced product is the only mechanical keyboard to sport fully programmable keys complete with on-the-fly macro recording and five additional gaming keys.
Additionally, the keyboard offers a fast 1ms response time with 1000Hz Ultrapolling as well as easy access to media keys. The offering measures 475 x 171 x 30 and comes to stores packed with a gaming mode option. There will also be a Razer BlackWidow Ultimate gaming keyboard which will pack in all the attributes of the original edition as well as a few added features. These include 3.5 inch audio and microphone out jacks, an additional USB port and backlit keys with 5 levels of lighting.
The Razer BlackWidow is slated to release next month tagged with a price of 79.99 USD (approx. Rs. 3,722) or 79.99 Euros (approx. Rs. 4,788).
