New Sega Console coming this Summer

With the console war heating up between Sony and Microsoft, many are trying to speculate which company will come out ahead with their next generation. As it stands, both are looking to give their current crop a motion controlled breather. But what’s this? Enter Sega, in the console foray? Pocket Lint is reporting that Sega will launch a new video game console in the summer which will let you play classic Sega titles, and which will have motion control as well.

Sega Zone console coming this Summer

According to the website, the console will be called the Sega Zone and will come with 20 classic Sega titles such as Sonic, Alex Kidd and Golden Axe, as well as 30 more games, 16 of which will be motion controlled. It will also come with two wireless remote controls, which will be useful in playing a host of sports classics such as tennis, darts, golf and more.

The Sega Zone is estimated to retail at about 50 GBP (approx. Rs. 3,660), and apparently you won’t be able to load any additional games onto it.
