3-in-1 Virtual Retro Adaptor for Nintendo Wii

Innex is a distributor of video game related products focusing mainly on video game peripherals. Now the company launches an adaptor which allows Wii users to connect NES, SNES and N64 controllers, to the Nintendo Wii. The 3-in-1 Virtual Retro Adaptor can connect one each of the old school game controllers to the Wii simultaneously.

The adapter hooks up to the GameCube port built into the Nintendo Wii, and can be used to play retro games like the ones available for the Virtual Console feature of the Wii. Initially players were forced to play the retro classics using the Wii remote. But now they can play those games the way they were meant to be played.

“Whether you’re a young kid or middle aged gaming fanatic, the Retro Adapter is perfect for controlling all the great Nintendo titles from the last 25 years,” said Titi Ngoy, President of Innex. “The Retro Adapter allows you to step back in time and play all the classics the way they were meant to be played using the original controllers. The old school is now the new cool.”

The Retro Adaptor, which has been developed by Komodo, will be distributed exclusively by Innex and will be demonstrated at this year’s E3. The adaptor is compatible with first and third party controllers and is expected to be available some time in mid-June for a suggested retail price of 19.99 USD (approx. Rs. 935).
