MSI Announces GX723 Notebook

MSI had earlier announced its GX623 and GX633 notebooks. Now MSI announces the GX723 featuring MSI’s exclusive Turbo Drive Engine Technology. This enables users to increase the speed of their CPU causing the notebook to run at its very best.

The MSI GX723 Notebook features the brand new Eco Engine which facilitates power saving, in 5 different modes. Depending on the task at hand, users can switch between Gaming mode, Office mode, Presentation mode, Movie mode and Turbo Drive mode. Each mode provides optimum power for gaming applications, office documentation tasks, presentation applications or multimedia applications or even to minimize battery power consumption. Unlike the GX623 and GX633 which have a 15.4 inch monitor, the MSI GX723 comes with a large 17 inch LCD display. The device is equipped with the Nvidia GeForce GT 130M 3D graphics card with 512 MB of built-in DDR3 Video RAM and Dolby Theater Class 5 speakers.

The MSI GX723 Notebook features the Intel Core 2 Duo processor and the Intel PM45 Express Chipset with wireless connectivity and HD capabilities. The laptop computer also has a 2.0 mega pixel web cam, the latest E-SATA support, and an optional DTV receiver making it possible to watch television shows on the device. The outer body of the notebook again dons the flame design, symbolizing speed and has aluminum as the base for the exterior giving it a high quality feel. The GX723 features an aerodynamic touchpad design with a simple black mirror plate creating a sharp contrast to the red outer body. The GX723 notebook also features colorful W, A, S, D keyboard buttons so that gamers can find the directional controls with ease.

MSI’s GX723 notebook has 802.11 b/g/n wireless networking capabilities and with the MSI exclusive Vivid LCD technology, the device delivers better richness. Whether watching movies, editing images or playing a game, the images are as 3-dimensional as possible. The MSI GX723 notebook has two slots of DDR2 SO-DIMM leading to a maximum of 4GB RAM. It has an HDMI port, 3 USB ports, a 4 in 1 card reader, and can have a maximum of 500 GB of hard drive space. The device features a DVD Super-Multi / Blu-Ray DVD drive, comes with a six or nine cell battery, 103 keys and a 120W AC adapter. No pricing or availability for the GX723 has been announced.
