MSI has announced its new notebook, the GSX403 with the MSI exclusive Turbo Drive Engine Technology. The device, with a 14.1 LCD, features the new ECO Engine which has a selection of 5 different modes, Gaming Mode for running game applications, Movie Mode for playing multimedia files and applications, Office Mode for running office documentation tasks, Presentation Mode while using presentation applications and Turbo Battery Mode to reduce to a minimum, the battery power consumption.
The GX403 comes with the latest Nvidia GeForce GT 130M 3D graphics card which has DDR3 256MB VRAM, and is outfitted with Dolby Digital Surround Sound for a better home theater experience. The new GX403 is powered by an Intel Centrino 2 Core 2 Duo processor and an Intel PM45 Express chipset.
The GX403 has a Blu-ray player and a 1.3 mega pixel web cam and is HDMI compliant. The device sports colorful W, A, S, D keyboard buttons and the LCD screen is capable of a 1280 by 800 resolution and has a 16 is to 10 screen ratio. MSI’s GX403 can have a hard drive with a maximum capacity of 500GB and has an in-built 4-in-1 card reader and 2 USB ports.
The GX403 notebook is light at only 2.2 kg with a 6 cell battery and is very portable. It comes with Genuine Windows Vista Home Premium operating system. So far no price has been announced for the notebook.
