For Mad Catz, unveiling FightSticks is not a new thing. The company earlier released the Limited Edition Street Fighter IV FightStick and in July and SFIV Femme Fatale Tournament Edition FightStick just some days ago. Mad Catz now announces a Marvel Vs Capcom 2 Arcade FightStick: Tournament Edition. This latest offering is fashioned for the PS3 and the Xbox 360.
The new MvC2 FightStick is compatible with the acclaimed title Marvel Vs Capcom 2 which can be acquired from the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live. The controller can also be played with other fighting games and features detailed artwork from the game. The FightStick incorporates kinetic gameplay which gives players a great arcade experience.

The latest MadCatz controller is approved by both the concerned companies namely Capcom and Marvel. The Arcade FightStick comes in an individually numbered Collectors Edition packaging complete with arcade quality components by Sanwa Denshi who is a well-known Japanese arcade manufacturer. The special MvC2 controller includes a 30mm Action Buttons and a Japanese style ball-handled joystick. The button placement arrangement matches that of the Vewlix arcade cabinet configuration which is familiar to fighting fans.

The FightStick also consists of the Dual-Turbo and D-Pad Control Switch functionalities which add twin levels of turbo control to the Action Buttons. For a solid surface play the company adds many detailed touches to the product like screw on rubber feet and locking mechanism which prevents accidental turbo activation. The Start and Select/Back Buttons are placed in such a way that they don’t hinder the players during gameplay. To add to the array of features, the MvC2 FightStick also sports authentic Marvel Vs Capcom 2 artwork.
Marvel Vs Capcom 2 Arcade FightStick: Tournament Edition will be available from the companies’ online stores when it releases this autumn.
