HQ Trivia to rule over Android users soon

Some folks are talking about the highly addictive HQ Trivia uncomfortably, in hushed whispers, likening it to Fifteen Million Merits in Black Mirror, painting a picture of a dystopian future where humans will tune into the game because it will be a matter of life or death. Relax, it’s just a game.

The only thing we should be worried about is how it’s going to perform on Android considering the lags it’s been suffering from lately. You can register for HQ Trivia in Google Play Store currently and a limited beta is in testing. iPhone has had the game for months. The developers who are the founders of the now defunct Vine, Rus Yusupov and Colin Kroll, promised it to Android users as a stocking stuffer.

HQ Trivia For Android

Now Christmas has come and gone, and the latest update is that HQ Trivia for Android will be released on January 1, 2018. HQ hosts live games every day at 6pm PT and 12pm PT. Those who are able to correctly answer all the questions split between themselves a pre-announced prize amount. It’s that straightforward.

But what about people flocking to it mechanically at the set hour, hypnotized by Quiz Daddy’s (aka Scott Rogowsky’s) voice? Isn’t it a form of mental enslavement we’re unaware of? There was a time before we had thousands of websites to visit, hundreds of digital games to play and millions of shows to choose from, when people convened similarly at an appointed hour to enjoy the same content on TV.

No one was shaking in their boots about how it could be putting millions under a spell. Such an event was not scary then, and neither should it be now. HQ Trivia is a shared pastime whose novelty will wear off in the future. Stop the fashionable fear-mongering about this silly quiz game.
