‘We wanted to make the game free for the first 24 hours, then continue selling at $2.99. Android Market does not let you do this,’ this is what the developers of the popular tower defense game tweeted before making the official announcement. Mobile phone gamers can now download Fieldrunners HD from the Android market for 0.99 USD (approx Rs. 44) for a day, after which it will cost 2.99 USD (approx Rs. 134).
Come Thursday, and fans will have 24 hours to download the discounted version. The game which was originally an iOS title can now be played on multiple platforms. If offers gamers, three types of gameplay – Classic, Extended and Endless along with eight different types of towers.
The developers, on their official blog had earlier announced that the game would be free for a day but the decision was changed due some issues. Fieldrunners HD will now be available on the Android market for 0.99 USD on June 30. From the next day it will cost 2.99 USD.
