Clint Hocking Jumps Onboard with LucasArts Team

Ubisoft Montreal creative director Clint Hocking has been among the primary architects behind the acclaimed Splinter Cell series and open world shooter Far Cry 2. Now word is out that Hocking has joined the likes of LucasArts in order to work on an upcoming unnamed project.

A representative from LucasArts revealed to GameSpot, “We are pleased to announce that Clint Hocking has joined LucasArts as creative director on an unannounced project.” There have been rumors floating around in the gaming terrain for quite some time now stating that Hocking presumably left Ubisoft Montreal earlier this year after a nine year stint.

The American game developer and publishing company fashions captivating titles based on the acclaimed Star Wars franchise. Fans can expect to see LucasArts unleashing many new Star Wars games later this year along with a new Indiana Jones title in the pipeline as well. The company is currently working on Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II which is scheduled to release this October.

The representative hasn’t shed anymore light on just what Clint Hocking and LucasArts would be working on. The ‘unannounced project’ mentioned above has been kept under wraps for now. But we know for sure that Hocking will certainly be endowed with the force at LucasArts.
